HSS Challenge - easel card

Card: cherry cobbler, pumpkin pie, concord crush
Ink: cherry cobbler, pumpkin pie, concord crush

Stamp sets: delicate doilies, well scripted

Other: brayer, beautiful wings embosslit, big shot, scallop trim border punch, concord crush 1/4" striped-poly ribbon

Over at Hand Stamped Sentiments this week was a colour challenge. I didn't have one of the colours so I substituted another similar one - I'm hoping that I won't be disqualified!

I didn't have any night of navy cardstock (I used concord crush instead), but I love this project, and it's detail. I decided to make an easel card, and use my brayer to add colour, and I'm stoked with how this has come out. The picture doesn't really do it justice, but hope you like it!

  2. WOW!!! Great card. So many pretty elements and the layout and the fold are so pleasing to the eye. Concord Crush works for me. :) By the way, I really like the location of your card....the fabric compliments the card so nicely. Thank you for joining us at Hand Stamped Sentiments.

  7. Well, I have to say, I was like where is the night of navy (after I saw you listed concord) BUT concord crush is a great sub! Who would have thought! I had to give it a second look and might not have noticed if it weren't for that yummy ribbon! All the elements are just perfect! Thanks for playing at Hand Stamped Sentiments!
